Privacy policy

VODPlay is a media player published by VODGroup. This policy explains what data we use and why.
1. What VODPlay does not do
VODPlay does not provide any channels, movies, series or other content. We do not look at what you watch and we do not sell any data.
2. The data we use
- Your device identifier (MAC address generated by the app) and its key: to recognize your device and manage your license.
- The details of the playlists you add yourself (name, link, server, username and password): to send them to your device. They are stored securely and never shared.
- The status of your license (trial, activation date, end date).
- Technical information (app version, date of the last connection): to run the service and fix problems.
- If you contact us: your email address and your message, so we can reply.
3. On your device
Your favorites, your playback progress and your settings (including the parental control code) stay on your device.
4. Sharing
We do not sell or rent your data. It is stored with our web host and is only shared if the law requires it. Licenses are activated with an activation code or by our team. When online payment becomes available, it will be handled by a secure payment provider: we will not see or keep card numbers.
5. Retention
A device's data is kept as long as the device uses VODPlay. It is deleted 12 months after the last connection, or sooner on request.
6. Your rights
You can delete your playlists at any time from the "My playlists" page. To delete all the data of your device, write to support@vodplays.com with your MAC address.
7. Children
VODPlay is not intended for children under 13. A parental control lets you lock categories.
